Where to Get All Margo’s Got Money Troubles Outfits

Margos Got Money Troubles outfits 2026 elle fanning

Let’s be honest — half the reason people are obsessed with this show right now has nothing to do with the plot.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles dropped on Apple TV+ in April 2026, and people immediately started losing their minds over the outfits. And fair enough. Every character looks like they were put together by someone who actually thought about who these people are, not just what looks good on camera.

The show is based on Rufi Thorpe’s 2024 novel and was created by David E. Kelley. A24 produces it for Apple TV+. Elle Fanning plays Margo, a college student at Fullerton College in Orange County who gets pregnant, drops out, and eventually turns to OnlyFans to pay the bills. Michelle Pfeiffer plays her mum. Her dad, a former wrestler fresh out of rehab, is Nick Offerman. And Nicole Kidman shows up from episode four as Lace — a retired wrestler who is now somehow also a lawyer.

The costume designer behind all of this is Mirren Gordon-Crozier. She’s worked with Elle Fanning before and clearly had a very specific vision for every single person on screen.

Here’s a breakdown of each character’s style and exactly where you can shop the looks right now.

Elle Fanning Outfits as Margo Millet

Margo’s style is a mess. And that’s completely intentional.

Gordon-Crozier described her as someone who grabs clothes off the floor and throws them on. Mismatched, layered, vintage mixed with whatever else is lying around. In the early episodes, she’s leaning into a sort of student look — sweater vests, muddy colours, things that feel like she’s trying to fit in at college. As the season progresses and her OnlyFans persona “Hungry Ghost” takes over, the looks get bolder.

Her cowboy boots show up in nearly every episode. Elle Fanning liked them so much she kept them after filming.

Michelle Pfeiffer Outfits as Shyanne Millet

Shyanne is the most fun to watch get dressed

Pfeiffer plays Margo’s mum — a former Hooters waitress who now works at Bloomingdale’s and has never once toned it down. Gordon-Crozier said she based the character’s wardrobe on the Real Housewives of Orange County from about fifteen or twenty years ago. Animal prints, faux fur, rhinestones, body-con everything. Pfeiffer is actually from Orange County herself, and she told the costume designer that Shyanne is exactly who she would have been if she’d never left.

There’s also a running thread throughout the season where Margo and Shyanne keep showing up in outfits that echo each other — same silhouettes, same textures, similar prints. It’s the costume team’s way of showing that Margo is more her mother’s daughter than she realises.

Nicole Kidman Outfits as Lace Sawkins

Nicole Kidman doesn’t show up until episode four, but she makes it count.

She plays Lace Sawkins, a retired pro wrestler who is now a lawyer in Costa Mesa. The character was created specifically for the show and isn’t in Rufi Thorpe’s original novel. Lace used to be one half of a wrestling duo called Leather & Lace, and she and Jinx go way back.

Kidman actually trained for three weeks with professional wrestlers before filming. Then, on the day of the big wrestling convention scene — hundreds of extras, the whole thing — she showed up with the flu. She pushed through the entire shoot anyway and was taken to hospital for an IV afterwards. Nick Offerman spoke about it publicly and said it was the most generous thing he’d ever seen someone do on set.

Gordon-Crozier dressed Lace in ’90s-cut power suits with big, almost superhero-level colours. The idea being that even as a lawyer, she’s still got that wrestler’s instinct to walk into a room and make everyone look up.

Nick Offerman Outfits as Jinx Millet

Jinx is the opposite of Shyanne in every way, and that includes how he dresses.

Nick Offerman plays Margo’s dad — a former wrestler who turns up at her door after getting out of rehab. He doesn’t have much. He doesn’t need much. His clothes reflect that. Hawaiian shirts, a leather vest, stuff that’s been worn in over years. Nothing showy, nothing new. Like Shyanne and Lace, he’s also dressed from a specific era — he found his identity in the wrestling world and never really moved on from it.

Apex & Fable have two Jinx pieces from the show.

Nick Offerman Hawaiian Shirt

Nick Offerman Hawaiian Shirt

This became a fan favourite almost immediately after the first episodes came out. It’s worn, relaxed, and completely Jinx — the kind of Hawaiian shirt a man wears when he’s done trying to impress anyone and is just trying to show up and do better.

Nick Offerman Leather Vest

The leather vest  is a direct link back to who Jinx used to be. You get the sense it’s been in his wardrobe a long time, and he’s not ready to let it go. Which, honestly, tracks for a guy like him.

Final Thought

What Gordon-Crozier did with this show’s wardrobe is easy to overlook if you’re caught up in the story — which is a good sign, because it means the clothes are doing exactly what they should.

Nobody on this show is dressed for fashion. They’re dressed as themselves.

Margo is figuring it out. Shyanne has figured it out and refuses to change. Lace performs even when she’s not performing. And Jinx is just trying to take up the right amount of space.

The show holds a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and has already been renewed for a second season. If you want any of these looks, everything mentioned above is available right now in our celebrity outfits category
